House of Keys
Fairly short order paper only 7 oral questions and 6 for written reply.
Returning from the UK this morning I missed the first 10mins of Keys, consequently political member for the department Tim Baker answered the first question which was addressed to me. A reoccurring theme about introducing a plastic bag levy and he was able to reassure that this is now in process but will be voluntary rather than legislated for.
Bill for second reading Casino Amendment Bill 2017 which will if passed modify our gaming laws and allow more than one casino to operate on Island.
Finally consideration of clauses with amendments to the Statute Law Revision Bill 2017.
PM – to DEFA HQ St Johns, a meeting with the Knockaloe and Patrick Visitors Centre regarding their aspirations for Knockaloe and the future with regard to public access and rights of way.
