A visit to the Ramsey Bakery. A fine example of a private company that has grown since 1972 to be the only major bakery on the island and the user of nearly 3000 tons of milling wheat produced by local farmers. They produce nearly everything from pasties to meat pies through all types of bread and supply all major outlets on the island.

It’s hard to believe that when they started there were 35 bakeries employing nearly 500 people, how that has changed over the years.
